Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria:

Must have completed a full-time degree in B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg) in Mining Engineering from AICTE-recognized colleges/UGC-approved universities along with First/ Second Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency (Metal/ Coal) issued by DGMS.
OR
Must have completed MS.c (Geology/ Applied Geology)/ M.Tech (Applied Geology)/ M.Sc. Tech (Applied Geology) from AICTE recognized colleges/ UGC approved universities.
Software Knowledge: Candidates having knowledge of software like ARC-GIS/ AUTOCAD/ SURPAC/ MINEX/ SPRY or familiarity with usage of field equipment like Brunton, GPS etc will be preferred.
To qualify for the position of Mining Engineer or Geologist, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Educational Background: Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field. A strong academic record is desirable, showcasing a deep understanding of core mining principles and geological concepts.
- Relevant Experience: While fresh graduates are welcome to apply, preference may be given to candidates with relevant work experience in the mining industry. Hands-on experience in mining operations, exploration, geological mapping, resource estimation, and mine planning will be highly regarded.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in mining software packages, such as MineSight, Surpac, or similar tools, is an advantage. Additionally, candidates should have a solid grasp of geotechnical engineering, mining machinery, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Mining engineers and geologists must possess strong analytical skills to interpret geological data, identify potential risks, and devise effective solutions.
