SAIL Recruitment 2023 for 239 vacancies (Trade Apprentice): The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is a leading steel-making company in India. SAIL has recently announced its recruitment notification for the year 2023 for the position of Trade Apprentice.

Eligibility Criteria for SAIL Recruitment:

Before applying for the SAIL Recruitment 2023, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for the positions of Trade Apprentice are as follows:

Age Limit – Candidates must have a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 28 years as as on 01.04.2023. A relaxation in upper age is admissible as per Govt. of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS.

Candidates must have completed ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.

Candidates must be Indian citizens.

Candidates whose “contract ID” has already been created in line with the Apprenticeship Act 1961, during their apprenticeship training at some other organizations are not eligible.

Stipend:

Rs 7000-7700/Month (in line with the act,1961). Apprentices are expected to arrange for their accommodation and other related arrangements, on their own.

3. Valid registration number created on National Apprenticeship Promotion scheme (NAPS) portal is compulsory to apply for the above positions. After registering oneself, one can login into the home page of NAPS portal as candidate then go to “Apprenticeship opportunities” and then click find establishments. Candidate should select SAIL IISCO STEEL PLANT, Burnpur (E03171900012) to apply in passed out trade of ITI against vacancies appearing on the portal.

Selection Process for SAIL Recruitment:

The selection process for the SAIL Recruitment 2023 for Trade Apprentice will be based on the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the ITI examination. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the ITI examination, and the final selection will be made based on the merit list.

Duration of Training –

The duration of training will be one year from the date of Contract creation & contract would be terminated automatically after completion of the apprenticeship training period.
