SSC Stenographer Syllabus 2022 ( Grade C and D) Overview

SSC Stenographer Syllabus 2022 Exam Pattern:

• The Question paper Pattern is Objective Type Multiple Choice only.
• For every wrong answer of the questions, there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks . The Eligible Candidates are  advised to be aware of it while answering the questions.

SSC Stenographer Syllabus 2022

A. General Intelligence & Reasoning:

The Question Paper is containing questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The various types of questions topics are including –

1. Analogies,

2. Similarities and Differences,

3. Space visualization,

4. Problem-Solving,

5. Analysis,

6. Judgment,

7. Decision Making,

8. Visual Memory,

9. Discriminating Observation,

10. Relationship Concepts,

11. Arithmetical Reasoning,

12. Verbal and Figure Classification,

13. Arithmetical Number Series,

14. Non-Verbal Series, etc.

The test will also include questions Prepared to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation, and other analytical functions.

B. General Awareness:

The Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. The Questions is designed to test The knowledge of current events and of such types of matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects, which is expected from an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially Containing –

1. Sports,
2. History,
3. Culture,
4. Geography,
5. Economic scene,
6. General Polity is including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research, etc.

For VH candidates of 40% and above visual disability opting for scribe, there will be no component of Maps/ Graphs/ Diagrams/ Statistical Data in the General Intelligence & Reasoning/ General Awareness Paper.

C. English Language & Comprehension:

For The Judgement to the testing of candidates’ understanding of the English Language, such as –

1. Vocabulary,
2. Grammar, s
3. Sentence structure,
4. Synonyms,
5. Antonyms, and its correct usage, etc.

[ The writing ability of the Candidates will also be tested.]
