Oasis Scholarship 2023: Oasis Scholarship was launched by the Government of West Bengal. This article will tell about all the all details which are required for Oasis Scholarship 2023. Along with this, educational qualifications have also been mentioned.

There are two types of scholarships –

Pre-matric Scholarship for (SC/ST)

Post-matric Scholarship (SC/ST/OBC)

Pre-matric Scholarship
for SC students
1. The applicant should have the State of Origin
Certification of SC.
2. Only applicable to students in Class 9th and 10th.
3. The annual family income of the applicant should not be over ₹2 Lakh.
Pre-matric Scholarship
for ST students
1. The applicant should have the State of Origin
Certification of ST.
2. Only applicable to students in Class 9th and 10th.
3. The annual family income of the applicant should not be over ₹2 Lakh.
Post-matric Scholarship
for SC/ST Students
1. The applicant should have the State of Origin
Certification of either SC or ST.
2. Only for the applicant who has enrolled at post-matric
education level.
3. The annual family income of the applicant should not be over ₹ 2.5Lakh.
Post-matric Scholarship
for OBC students
1. The applicant should have the State of Origin
Certification of OBC.
2. The applicant should have passed SSC
(Secondary School Certificate) Examination.
3. The annual family income of the applicant should not be over ₹ 1 Lakh.

Required Documents:

What are the documents required for the applications of Oasis Scholarship –in detail below;

  2. proof of Date of Birth
  3. Copy of Caste Certificate
  4. Copy of Marksheet of last examination passed
  5. Copy of the first page of bank passbook
  6. Copy of Aadhaar card
  7. Copy of Khadyasathi Card

These documents are needs to be submitted to the Block Office/ Sub-Division office / DWO Kolkata’s office as applicable with the hard copy of the application for verification.

Online Registration for Oasis Scholarship:

  • Firstly, visit the official website of OASIS: Link
  • Secondly, click on the ‘Student’s Registration’ (for New/Fresh Candidate)
  • Thirdly, choose your district (where your institution is located), but those studying outside of West Bengal should select the district of their permanent address.
  • Fourthly, fill up the required caste certification details (Your Name, Father’s Name, and Computerised Caste Certificate Number) Note: Manual Certificate will not be accepted
  • After that, click on ‘Submit’.
  • Then, update your basic details (Date of Birth, Sub-Caste, Current Institution Name, Phone Number, and Email along with a Scanned Photograph.
  • After that, click on the ‘Submit Button’ to complete your registration.
  • Next, download the computer-generated Acknowledgement Slip.
  • At last, the PDF file will contain the Applicant’s User ID and Password for future login.

Application form:

  • Firstly, go to the official website of OASIS: Link
  • Secondly, click on the ‘Registered Student’s Login’
  • Thirdly, enter your (User ID, Password and District) and click on ‘Login’
  • Fourthly, click on the Further Details button and fill in all the required details like communication address, institution details etc. and save it.
  • After that, enter bank account details (Bank Name, Account Number, IFSC Code and MICR Code)
  • Then, click “Verify & Lock’ button, and once lock it you cannot edit these details.
  • At last, click on the ‘Print Application’ and download the ‘Application Form’.

Submit your application form with your signature and all required documents to your concerned BDO Office (for the block area) and PO-cum-DWO (for the corporation and municipality area).

Track Application:

  • Firstly, visit the OASIS Portal: Link
  • Secondly, click on the Track Application button.
  • Thirdly, enter your User ID or Application Serial Number and Application Session.
  • At last, click on the Check Status button to view your scholarship application status.

Renewal:

  • Firstly, visit the OASIS Portal: Link
  • Secondly, click on ‘Renew Scholarship’ and select your applied district –submit it.
  • Thirdly, login with (User ID, Password)
  • Fourthly, check all the details and information which is provided previously. If you want to update any information, add it and save the changes.
  • After that, click on ‘Renew Application’ and then ‘Renew and Lock Application’ button.
  • Then, download the acknowledgement slip.
  • At last, submit your application form with your signature and all required documents to your concerned BDO Office (for block area) and PO-cum-DWO (for the corporation and municipality area).

Do’s & Don’ts:

Please put your own Aadhaar No in the designated place in the application format / if not available then put the Enrollment ID.

Please put your khadyasathi No in the designated place in the application format.

Your own caste certificate no. has to be put in the designated place in the application form.

Select the course and institution carefully in case of Post Matric Scholarships, any mismatch may result in rejection of the application and any wrong claim is liable to be recovered and legal action for falsification of records may be taken.

Active Mobile No which is your own or to which you have access, needs to be put in the application format. You have to preserve it till your course is completed.

Only one application from one candidate is entertained, multiple applications may lead to the rejection of the application.

The scholarship amount will be credited to your own Aadhaar seeded bank account. One Aadhaar seeded bank account will cater to one applicant.

As per the guidelines for the OBC Pre & Post Matric scholarship of Govt. of India, only two male children of parents or guardians are entitled to the scholarship. This restriction is not applicable to the girl child.
