List of Scholarships for Indian Students:
Scholarships are financial awards given to students to help them pursue their education. They are typically awarded based on various criteria such as academic merit, financial need, specific talents.

State Government, Central Government and many foundations provide various scholarships for students. Students can apply for this scholarship online or offline. Scholarships for Post Matric will publish between June 2024 to August 2025. The various foundation provides scholarships for meritorious students. Post Matric Scholarship will publish nearly January.

  • You must be a domicile of West Bengal. If studying at the higher secondary level or diploma, you must have scored at least 75% marks in class 10th.
  • studying at undergraduate level, you must have scored at least 75% marks in class 12th.
  • If studying at PG level, you must have scored at least 53% marks in graduation (for general education) or 55% marks (in case of engineering)
  • The annual family income of your family should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh.
3 West Bengal Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC (OASIS) Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal
  • You should have a domicile of West Bengal and belong to SC/ST/OBC category.
  • You must be studying in Class 11, 12, Graduation or Post graduation.
  • The family income for SC/ST students should not exceed INR 2 Lakh to INR 2.5 Lakh per annum. The family income for OBC
  • students should not exceed INR 1 Lakh per annum.
4 West Bengal Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC ST Students (OASIS) Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal
  • Having a domicile of West Bengal is mandatory.
  • You should belong to SC or ST category. You must be currently a student of class 9 or 10.
  • The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 2 Lakh per annum from all sources.
5 NSP Scholarship Ministry of Electronics and information, Technology Government of India
  • They must be a citizen of India.
  • The second one is that students must have received at least 50% of the possible points on the final test from the prior year.
  • The Merit Cum Means scholarships will provide funding to those students who have enrolled in the technical and professional courses.
6 Aikyashree Scholarship he West Bengal Minority Development And Finance Corporation Commonly Known As ( WBMDFC).
  • Being A Resident Of West Bengal Having Passed The WBBSE Or WBCHSE Examination
  • Securing A Minimum Of 60% Marks In The Examination
  • Belonging To A Specific Category (Such As Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes, Or Economically Weaker Section)
  • Having A Certain Level Of Family Income
  • Enrolling In A Recognized College Or University In India
7 Kanyashree Prakalpa Department of Women Development and Social Welfare, Government of West Bengal (DWD&SW)
  • All girl children within the age of 13 to 19 years from families with annual income up to Rs 120000/-
  • Girls regularly attending institutions for education or vocational/sports training
  • Girls of Child Care Institutes registered under J.J. Act within the age of 18-19 years
  • For the one-time grant, girls who are completing 18 years on or after 1st April 2013
11 Paramparik Scholarship Nonprofit organization
  • Students, who passed their Madhyamik or Higher Secondary (10th+2) examination this year with a good percentage and took admission on Engineering, Medical, Nursing, Graduation and Master’s courses anywhere in India, can apply for Paramparik Scholarship.
12 GP Birla Scholarship GP Birla Educational Foundation
  • 85% marks (for WBCHSE) and 90% (for CBSE/ISC) in class 12th Family Income: Below or equivalent to INR 3 Lakhs
13 Aalo Scholarship or Alo Scholarship Aalo Charity Organisation
  • This scholarship is open to students from schools in West Bengal.
  • Only students currently studying in the 11th standard are eligible to apply for the Aalo Monthly Scholarship Program.
  • Candidates must have passed their Madhyamik (10th class) examination with a minimum of 70% marks for Arts students and 75% marks for Science and Commerce students.
  • The scholarship program is exclusively for students who have successfully passed the Madhyamik exams in 2024.
14 Swami Dayanand Merit-cum schorship Swami Dayanand Education Foundation
  • The scholarship is available for all undergraduate courses– engineering, medical, architecture, etc. and other undergraduate courses.
  • Secured atleast 80% in CBSE Board or 70% or above Marks in Other Boards in 12th Class
  • CGPA of at least 8.0 for Second year students
  • Annual Family Income should be less than Rs 8 Lacs per annum
  • Only first and second year students are allowed to apply for this program
  • one year drop is allowed for technical courses
  • Applicant studied from Govt or Govt aided schools
  • All India Overall Rank should be less than 90,000 for Engineering & Architecture courses and 40,000 for medical courses
  • Age limit – 19 years for first year students and 20 years for second year students
